ABA had a meeting with UNDP, UNAMA & representative of United Nation

Afghanistan Banks Association (ABA) and its Board Members had a ZOOM meeting with Mr. Abdallah Al Dardari, UNDP Resident Representative and UNDP team, Head of Governance Unit UNAMA, and Mr. Moez Doraid, representative of United Nation on the status and support of the Financial Sector in Afghanistan. The core aim of the meeting was how the UN can collaborate with banking sector of Afghanistan in order to reduce the poverty level of the people.
In this meeting, ABA and board members highlighted about the issues and challenges of banking sector and possible ways of collaboration. In conclusion Resident Representative of UNDP thanked ABA and assured their all possible support and also mentioned about singing MoU with ABA.
