Swift International Banking Operations Seminar (SIBOS) 2013

SIBOS is an annual exhibition, seminar and networking event for financial industry organized by SWIFT community. It brings together around 7000 decision makers, bankers, financial experts from financial institutions, market infrastructures, multinational corporations and technology partners to strengthen and establish international relations. In addition, SIBOS is a place to do business and shape the future of the financial industry with nearly 200 exhibitors.
ABA participated as exhibitor in SIBOS 2013 held at World Trade Centre, Dubai during September 16-19, 2013. More than 200 banks, potential investors and business service providers visited ABA stall at SIBOS to discuss and expand business relations with banking sector in Afghanistan.
Eight of ABA member banks in SIBOS to meet other international banks including top US banks on their business relations. Many of the participating Afghan banks were able to establish new business relations with other international banks. SIBOS have given good exposure to Afghan banking sector. SIBOS have appreciated ABA participation and have given good media coverage to ABA activities.
