Trilateral MoU was singed between DAB, ABA & Money Exchangers Solidarity Council

Trilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was singed between Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB), Afghan Banks Association and Money Exchangers Solidarity Council
In order to expand public access to financial and banking services, DAB signed a MoU with the ABA and the Money Exchangers' Solidarity Council on 18 July 2021 to provide financial and banking services through branchless banking.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Ajmal Ahmadi, Acting Governor of DAB, said that the purpose of this memorandum is to create a spirit of cooperation between banks and money exchangers through branchless banking and expanding public access to financial and banking services in villages and towns far from the city.
In another part of his speech, Mr. Ahmadi added that Da Afghanistan Bank, as the Central Bank of the country, will always strive to provide the growth of the banking and non-banking sector in the light of relevant laws, which will expand public access to financial and banking services. Eventually, it will lead to the growth and prosperity of the country's economy.
Subsequently; According to the agenda, Mr. Mohammad Salem Omid, Chairman of the ABA, who was virtually connected to the meeting, Alhaj Amin Jan Khosti, Chairman of the Money Exchangers 'Solidarity Council, and Mr. Haji Ahmad Shah Hakimi, Member of the Money Exchangers' Solidarity Council, each promised cooperation. They thanked the leadership of DAB for providing this opportunity.
