ABA meeting with world bank team

Afghanistan Banks Association (ABA) and its member banks held a virtual consultative meeting with Regional Director WB SAR; Senior Country Officer IFC, and other WBG country team on the state and support of the Financial Sector in Afghanistan. In this meeting, ABA, s chairman discussed the current challenges, limitations, and developments in Afghanistan's banking sector during the months of August and September 2021. In conclusion, ABA stressed on the importance of international community support to the people of Afghanistan and the Afghan private sector.
